27 you say? Married with two kids. A busy housewife and mother. Always Smiling. Helpful and Willing. Never a Dull Moment in Her Presence. Giggling, but Opinionated. Sensible and Loving. Wiser than her 27 years.
Poor Amy is at the end of a slew of birthdays in our family. By the time we get to hers.....we are all tired of the birthday thing. But she is none the less loved and appreciated! Actually, it was a good excuse this year to leave the house and go shopping with no eye on the clock. It has been a long time since we have both done that.
Our family adores Amy. We all count on her for our creative edge when it comes to invitations, lesson visuals, flyers, blogs, or general cuteness. Amy answers the call! She is a whiz at designing pretty much anything on her computer. I'm surprised I can claim her as my child since I don't have a clue when it comes to computer foo foo!
She is just getting over the birth of her recent little Miss, while handling her active 2-year-old. She has done such a great job at juggling two...or maybe I haven't witnessed many melt-downs...which is it???? Anyway...she gets over it and moves on.

Happy Birthday Max-a-Millan
This guy wears many hats! Husband, Father, Bishop, Financial Provider, Counselor, Grandpa, School Car Pool Driver, Lawyer Man, Wrestling Rah Rah Man, Cookie Maker, Steak Cooker, Wanna Be Tennis Player, Exercise Dude (spinning), Pool Basketball Boy, Ping Pong Partner, Loan Officer, and.....He's His Own Man! (he he he)
It has virtually been a roller coaster these past 6 years as he has served as Bishop of our Ward. He is fabulous! Word has it that he is the longest running Bishop in this Stake of ours.....and no release yet! He is constantly busy with the duties that go along with his calling. We have been the beneficiaries of wonderful blessings and have made many long-lasting friendships during his "bishoping!" Our Ward LOVES Him....and so do I.
He is a great husband and father. Really, he has made so many sacrifices in his family's behalf. Frankly, he is worn out, but still keeps going. What a guy! We all love him soooo much.
A few pictures of favorite memories with our family.....Switzerland, Newport and Montana!

Sixteen
The day has arrived......he can date, he can drive, he's smiling, he's happy, he's spoiled but he is loved! Kev boy is sixteen.
What to do for a sixteen-year-old??? Read on.
I purchased some ever-so-wonderful gift cards that I knew he would love! I went to the scrapbook store (yes!) and die cut some funky envelopes to hold the gift cards. I called some random girl friends (found on his contact list while he was asleep) acquainted with Kev to help me out!
During each break between classes at school, one of the girls walked up to Kev and gave him a little birthday envelope. At first he was wondering.... what the heck???? And then he got the idea. At lunch I brought him a pizza and one of the girls delivered a big cookie from Paradise Bakery while he was eating lunch. The gifts continued throughout the day until school was over. Kevin came home smiling!
Before Kevin's school let out, "The Boyer Girls" came over and did a number on Kev's room. It was sooooo cute. They were excited! They had banners, streamers, ballons and witty comments that they decorated Kevin's room with. What cute little kiddos. They did a fabulous job with birthday decor. Kev was touched! It was extra effort on Julie's part.....it was 103 degrees outside, she had to get Riley out of school early, and Sophie was not feeling well at all. Thanks for the effort Julie! Our family is suffering from the flu bug!!!
Now for a comment or two from the Mom....
Kev is an awesome 16-year-old! (except he wants a dog!) I appreciate his willingness to be helpful, obedient and pretty much do anything we ask him to do. It's tough being an "only child" at this point in his life. He has great friends that fill in for the brother/sister thing. He has worked hard this year in school and on the wrestling team. He received the Outstanding JV Wrestler Award and no doubt he deserved it. The grandkids adore him and I love him like no other! Happy Birthday Sixteen Year Old!

Happy Mother's Day
I love my daughters....including Julie! Mother's Day is the perfect time to tell them so......! I admire and love them for all sorts of reasons. Here are a few......
Lindsey is a "YES" girl. She is always willing to help out, even if it is not convenient for her. She will go out of her way to make sure everyone else is happy at her expense.
Julie......my daughter-in-law. I love this girl. She is diligent, orderly, and a wonderful Mom.
We missed Julie at our Mother's Day Dinner....she had some sick kiddos!
Amy is our new little "Mom" I can't believe she has 2 kids already!
