A Weekend with Nana

Riley in her 1st grade classroom

Whew! It was a fun and busy weekend at our house. It all started with Ryan and Julie leaving town, headed to Utah for a Temple Sealing. "Nana" was lucky to have Riley, Maddie and Lucy stay with me. (Thanks Cari for tending Sophie during the Temple Session)

Since Julie was gone I got to attend Riley's end of the year classroom program "Here Comes The Sun." It was so darling! Riley had a little speaking part, explaining what she had learned in her classroom. Everything was yellow, even the refreshments. She was so cute! She is growing up so fast. Next year she will be in 2nd grade and be baptized!

Of course Riley, Maddie and Lucy needed company to play with sooooo Emma, Kate and Lindsey came over to spend the weekend too. Ryan took Drew to the Fathers and Sons campout. We had a houseful of girls!

On top of that Kevin had his big 9th grade end of year dance/year book signing party at Stapley Junior High and I was in charge of the refreshments on Friday Night. Yikes! He will be in High School next year.

"The Girls" ready for pancakes!

So the Fam pulled together to make it all work. We had so much fun. We swam, swam, swam, watched movies and had a big sleepover with pancakes for breakfast and more swimming Saturday. We have had the solar blanket on our pool, plus the heaters on. Our pool is sooo warm. It is the greatest! Max got some great one on one time with the grandkids while I left for a few hours to do the refreshments for Kevin's school. Lindsey and Amy made sure everything went smoothly. The kids were all so good....they love to play together....so they entertain each other. We had a houseful and loved every minute! Girls Rule!
